Winning the France Excellence-NUI Research Residency Award
Saeedeh Ghanadbashi was awarded a France Excellence-NUI Research Residency grant in 2024 for a research visit to ENAC Lab (Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile). She has been a part of the RESCO team, working as a researcher for the RE-ROUTE project from University College Dublin. The project focuses on utilizing an autonomous swarm of drones for enhanced structural health monitoring of wind turbines, with a strong emphasis on decentralized decision-making. Her research explored the application of multi-agent systems and edge computing to improve real-time decision-making in dynamic and partially observable environments.
